We went to pick up our new laminate counter today at Lowes. Our project had already been pushed back 3 weeks because the first time they put in the order, they forgot to tell the factory to bevel the edges.

We sent it back again, because this time they bevelled both sides so we couldn’t install it against the wall.

Needless to say we’re pissed. It will take at least another 2 weeks to get the new, new counter. What if we had ripped out the old one in anticipation of receiving the new one?

And while Lowes is fixing the problem,  the manager didn’t seem particularly concerned about it. If you’ve messed up this badly, twice, the least you can do is pretend to be sympathetic. It’s not like we were demanding a free counter, we just want what we ordered.
